On Wednesday 27 May at 14:00 UTC, PAGES will conduct a webinar with the World Data Service for Paleoclimatology (WDS-Paleo).

A replay of the webinar with a live Q&A session will be shown on Thursday 28 May at 17:00 UTC.

The webinar "Promoting FAIR principles at NOAA’s World Data Service for Paleoclimatology" will be presented by WDS-Paleo's Carrie Morrill. Morrill and her WDS-Paleo colleagues Wendy Gross and Imke Durre will be available for questions.

The primary mission of WDS-Paleo is to ensure that global paleoclimatology proxy and derived reconstruction data are maintained in a permanent archive that is easily and openly accessible to the world's science community and to other users. New initiatives of WDS-Paleo, including bulk data download and the Paleoenvironmental Standard Terms (PaST) Thesaurus of measured variables, help to make these data FAIR (findable, accessible, interoperable, re-usable).

Explore these features and get tips to improve your searches by using the new tour of Paleo Data Search.

Join us - live on Wednesday 27 May at 14:00 UTC, or for the replay with live Q&A session on Thursday 28 May at 17:00 UTC - to learn how to use these new capabilities and to discuss new directions in data stewardship, both to meet new WDS-Paleo data contribution requirements and to access data more efficiently and effectively.

This is the second PAGES webinar. The first, with LiPD, is available on our YouTube channel. The WDS-Paleo webinar will also be available there in the future.
